Delivery and Payment Terms

Pricing
Prices are current as of May 1, 2007. We will do our best to hold these prices through December 31, 2007, but we cannot guarantee this. If pricing changes occur, we will attempt to notify you before processing your order. All prices are stated in US Dollars. Many items qualify for quantity discounts; please call us for a custom quote.

Minimum Order
In order to keep our prices low and our service and selection high, we have a minimum order requirement of $25 for our school and church customers and $50 on all others.

Credit Terms and New Accounts
Credit is automatically granted to public schools and most government institutions. On other orders, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or checks. Check by phone service is available for a $15 transaction fee. Our standard credit terms are Net 30 days for all accounts in good standing. Returned checks will be assessed a $30 transaction fee.

Returns and Order Cancellations
We understand that returns and cancellations are sometimes necessary. Before returning an item, please:

  1. Call us within 30 days of receiving your shipment to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  2. Please repack items in the original packaging and include your packing list and RMA number so we can identify your package. Credit will be issued only for items in new, saleable condition.
  3. Returns must be shipped back to us freight prepaid within 30 days of receiving your authorization number. We recommend that you ship via FedEx Ground or UPS to ensure your ability to track your return package. Sorry, we cannot be responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in shipment.
  4. Returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge, call tag fees, and all freight charges. We cannot refund shipping or handling charges. Items shipped direct from the manufacturer may be subject to higher restocking fees.
  5. Custom orders are generally non-cancelable after 24 hours of placing your order and are non-returnable. Please ask about return and cancellation policies when placing your custom order.

Freight and Receiving Information
Many items in this catalog are in stock and available for immediate shipment from Chardon, Ohio. Look for the in-stock symbol. A $4.50 handling charge will be added to your order. Except where noted, items are shipped FOB shipping point. Our Customer Service Representatives can help you estimate freight charges prior to shipment.

Same Day Shipping
All in-stock orders that are received by 3pm ET will be shipped via ground the same day. However, if the in-stock order requires truck shipping, we will ship that order within 24 hours. To avoid confusion, please ask your Shiffler Solutions Expert how your order will ship.

Tips for receiving your order:

  1. Count your cartons and sign only for those received.
    Note any shortages or concerns on your freight bill and call us right away to report the problem.
  2. Occasionally, a shipment may have hidden damages.
    In order to protect your investment, please open all packages before signing for them. Note any damages on your freight bill and ask for claims assistance. Notify us within 24 hours of the damages.
    After that time, freight carriers may not accept the claim. We are sorry that we will not be able to issue a credit for damages or shortages not promptly reported to us.
  3. If a package has visible damage when it arrives, we strongly recommend that you refuse shipment and contact us immediately to arrange for a reshipment.
  4. Please be careful when discarding packing material so that small items are not overlooked and thrown away.
