| This item is a piece of steel with cutouts and 90o bends in it. | |
| As the piece faces you, with two bends pointing towards you and | |
| one bend pointing away from you, it consists of the following | |
| - A lockbar mounting side on the left, which is bent forward and | |
| has two triangular tabs, bent out to the left, which snap into | |
| the lockbar, and a single mounting hole between them | |
| - A back portion, which is wider on the top than the bottom | |
| - An upper right section, which bends facing you, and has an | |
| oval padlock hole. The nylon finger lift, which also has an | |
| oval padlock hole in it, snaps over this section. | |
| - A lower right lock stop tab, which bends facing away from you. | |
| This tab acts as a stop for the bolt on a combination lock, | |
| and the lift can not go up until the bolt is turned in | |
| and out of this tab's way. | |

| There is a round dimple that the lift snaps over | |

| Nylon finger lift - the front edge is wider and longer than the | |
| rest of the finger lift. As it faces you, the shape resembles | |
| an arrow pointing down - wide at the top, like arrow feathers, | |
| becomes narrow in the middle, then wide again, angling down | |
| to a soft point at the bottom. The finger lift is slotted in | |
| the back to fit over the steel tab on the slide lift. | |
