| This is a flat, 'L' shaped piece of steel, which has | |
| - Two long edges on the outside, one with a large, square cutout | |
| and one with one small square cutout - | |
| - Two shorter edge on the inside with zero cutouts. | |
| - Two ends, one with a small square cutout | |
| As the flat side faces you, for describing and measuring purposes, | |
| the long side with the large cutout will be on the left and | |
| the long side with the small cutout will be along the top, | |
| as it would be installed on the locker if you are standing | |
| and looking at it from the left side. The two small cutouts | |
| snap into the door, holding the padlock staple in place. | |
| The ME-5503 handle fits over it, concealing it. | |
