| Lockbar fingers - there are rectangular platforms that lay between, | |
| and perpendicular to the handle portion and the lockbar fingers | |
| (like a 'T'). When the handle is installed on the locker door, | |
| these platforms butt up against the outside of the door, acting | |
| like a stop. Each lockbar finger starts at the face of one of | |
| the platforms and has a mounting hole near its tip. | |
| - On the right hand lift, the fingers start off the left front | |
| of the platform as the fingers point away from you. | |
| - On the left hand lift, the fingers start off the right front | |
| of the platform as the fingers point away from you. | |
| This is how you can visually identify the handing. | |
