| There are flat platforms that lay between, and perpendicular to the | |
| handle portion and the mounting prongs, forming a base and stop | |
| for the mounting prongs. The flat platforms butt up agains the | |
| outside of the door then the handle is in place. The mounting | |
| prongs extend out off the platforms and each has a hole for | |
| mounting to the side of the lockbar. On the right hand lift, | |
| the prongs are closer to the left edge of the platform as the | |
| prongs are pointed away from you. This is how you can visually | |
| identify the handing if you are looking at the lift. | |
